Level 2 Certification or Hazard Specific courses are designed for members of a Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC) and meet the requirements for completing Certification training and becoming a Certified Member recognized by the Ministry of Labour. Please note a minimum of 6 topics are required to be submitted to become a certified member.
The 6 topics covered will include:
Chemical Safety,
Electrical Hazards,
Moving Machine Parts,
Walking and Working Surfaces,
Manual Material Handling and
Office Work Environments
Eligibility: |
University Staff who are members of the Central Joint Health and Safety Committee, Local Joint Health and Safety Committee or Health and Safety Representatives at a Research Station. Participants must have completed Level 1 Certification training within the past year. |
