This workshop covers many general safety topics, including:
an introduction to the Occupational Health and Safety Act;
the University Safety Policy
safety administration at the U of G
duties and responsibilities
injury, incident and hazard reporting,
working in heat, sun safety, and biting insects
back care and proper lifting techniques
Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS)
